In Owl Class, we looked at the symbol of the poppy and thought about how to make it more representative of the contributions made by people across the world, who sacrificed their lives in one way or another for Britain, since the onset of World War 1. Inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe, we decided that one poppy to represent everyone would be a wonderful way to show diversity and equality.
We hope you enjoy a sample of the poppies the children created which are a display of the incredible artists and innovators we have in Owl Class.

ROAR 2021
Owl Class have been working very hard as part of ROAR 2021. In groups, they identified problems in the world that they want try and fix, then created prototypes of their suggested solutions, as well as an advert, jingle and presentation! The whole school supported their efforts by watching their presentations and asking really good questions to find out more.
A HUGE thank you to Mr Skinner, Mrs Barwell and Mrs Gross who were the judges on the Presentation Morning.
