Library CURRENT

Our school library is a much‑loved space at the heart of our community — a place where stories spark curiosity, imagination and a lifelong love of reading. Thoughtfully designed to feel calm, welcoming and inspiring, the library gives every child the chance to explore new worlds, discover new interests and enjoy the simple pleasure of getting lost in a good book.

Reading is central to everything we do as a school. Strong reading skills open doors across the curriculum, helping children build vocabulary, deepen understanding and grow in confidence as learners. Our library supports this by offering a rich and diverse collection of high‑quality books that reflect the interests, experiences and identities of all our children.

But the library is more than shelves and stories. It is a place where children can feel safe, settled and valued — a quiet corner to pause in a busy day, a cosy spot to share a book with a friend, or a space to explore ideas and let imaginations flourish. We want every child to feel that this is their library.

We are incredibly proud of this space and the opportunities it creates. By investing in our library, we are investing in our children’s futures — nurturing confident readers, curious thinkers and joyful learners.
