At Little Horsted CE Primary School, our PE curriculum is guided by our vision to Live, Love, Learn in the Light of the Lord and shaped by the values of kindness, love, respect, aspiration, resilience and community.

We aim to give every child joyful and inclusive opportunities to be active, develop physical skills and build confidence.

Children show kindness and respect as they support teammates and use equipment safely; display aspiration as they set goals and challenge themselves; develop resilience through practice and perseverance; and strengthen community by working together with fairness and good sportsmanship. Through a wide range of activities - including swimming in Key Stage 2 - pupils learn the importance of physical health, wellbeing and positive mindset.

Our intent is for every child to leave Little Horsted as a confident, respectful and active young person, ready to lead a healthy life and contribute positively to their community as they Live, Love and Learn in the Light of the Lord.
